The Calgary weather has not been cooperating with what should have been the first day of spring this march 20th. Perhaps the ‘weather master’ is still in winter hibernation and we need to inspire him with some bright and airy stationery!
So, as my first official blog, I thought it only seemed natural to inspire this year’s brides with some beautiful spring colours and patterns. When I think of spring I think of budding tulips, Easter pastels and fresh crisp air, green grass and birds. All this natural, earthy inspiration is brought forth into spring stationery with texture rich paper, soft romance represented in fonts and silk embellishments.
I have created a couple of samples inspired by the theme of spring and hope you like! Twisting the common with quircky I have created some new looks for the 2011 spring bride.
From a modern design of love birds with a fresh take on colour and pattern with bold typography, to a traditional formal garden affair with romantic script. Remember to add a little panache to your stationery!
