The Christmas season is a beautiful time to have a wedding as their are so many wonderful decorations arranged. Greenery with trees, pine and holly, the red from poinsettias, berrys and mistletoe are bold and beautiful. With this style shoot we wanted to capture traditional elegance with beautiful ornamented plates and cutlery, bold napkin colours with white linens and candles.
We put together two Christmas looks for you with stationery. Pine cones are a traditional winter image, and we paired them with modern calligraphy and type style. We added ribbon corners to the menus to add a formal look. The ribbon corners really help to pop the menu on the back card stock layer. Matching place cards are folded and tucked into the plate for a clean look.
We kept with the purple and red theme for the inside style shoot with pines, and red wildflowers. A chocolate brown card stock frames the printed menus and looks dramatic on the floral plates. This Christmas Style was implemented with beautiful holly bowls, pine cones, white shimmery linens and crystal. Wood accents helped carry the rustic feel, with wood rounds under the cake.
The Christmas season is one of my favourites, maybe not the cold weather, But I LOVE decorating the house and spending as much time with family and friends as I can! Its a time to be grateful, to feel blessed, and to tell people that we love and appreciate them! What would be better than to have friends and family all come together for a special wedding at this time.
